When pairing a Bluetooth Remote Speaker Microphone (RSM) or PTT button, first pair via the device settings menu, as you would pair any Bluetooth device or headset.


To pair the Stone Mountain BluSkye for use with your IMPULSE Wireless app:


- Make sure the BluSkye is turned off and physically near to the iOS device (iPhone or iPad).

- Turn the BluSkye on by pressing and holding the round power button on the rear of the RSM. Continue to hold this button until you see a red/blue flash pattern from the RSM's LED (about five seconds). This indicates the RSM is in pariring mode.


- Go to the settings on the Android or iOS device and enable Bluetooth.

- When you see the Stone Mouintain BluSkye PTT RSM in the options, tap it to pair.

- Observe the flash pattern on the RSM change from red/blue to an infrequent blue flash, indicating it is connected.


For Android, if your IMPULSE Wireless settings have been pre-configured, the RSM is ready to go. If a default callee has not been set for you, you may wish to set this now. Due to security requirements from iOS, with these devices (iPhones and iPads); you must also pair your devices within the IMPULSE WIreless PTT application. If you are an iOS (iPhone or iPad) user, open the IMPULSE Wireless app.


- Go to the Client Settings Menu under the “More” tab, and select “PTT Button.”

- In the drop-down menu, select Bluetooth LE.

- When the connection is successful, a picture and name of the device displays.
